Wolf Eyes Explorer Dual LED

The Wolf Eyes Explorer Dual LED torch flashlight is the answer to a question we were asked by an Australian marine operational team who needed a light which wouldn’t destroy their night vision but would allow instant switching to a blindingly high output. Wolf Eyes Guider - Queensland Police Special

Wolf Eyes Sniper 260 Hunter

The Wolf Eyes Sniper 260 Hunter is a version of the Wolf Eyes Sniper with a smooth reflector for enhanced throw and comes equipped with a gun tape switch for mounting near the trigger or on the forestock. Barrel and Picatinny rail mounts are available and have recently been used to mount these to M4, Heckler & Koch UMP and Bushmasters. The 13 cm size helps with mounting and gun balance, whilst the 150 gram weight (including batteries) barely changes the point of impact.

With a solid 100 metre output, the Sniper 260 Hunter provides good target identification for internal use and external use at the ranges these weapons are predominantly used at.  There are two versions of this light, a single level torch called the Sniper 260 Hunter Solo which is perfect for weapon only use and a multi level torch which is good for using off the firearm with the lower levels, the multi level version called Sniper 260 Hunter.

Wolf Eyes Sniper MC

The Wolf Eyes Sniper MC provides 580 lumens of searching power in the palm of your hand. Utilising the same body as the standard Sniper but with a larger bezel (head) it has a much stronger flood beam, great for building clearing. As with all 25.4mm (1″) Wolf Eyes bodies it is weapon mountable and can utilise tape switches. It also utilises the same LRB168A battery used in so many of the Wolf Eyes torches to provide commonality.

Wolf Eyes Superstorm

Wolf Eyes Superstorm, the perfect storm? Possibly if you work in law enforcement. Small enough to be belt carried, the Superstorm has 7 LEDs giving 1300 lumens or roughly ten times the light you are getting from your Maglite, but also with a high, medium, low and strobe mode. The High mode is tremendous when lots of light is required, the medium is similar to what you have been using and low is a reasonable amount of light and will last a week of shifts. The strobe mode is handy as a warning or very useful for crowd control, whilst the disorientating effect wont have people dropping to their knees, it sure distracts them from what they may have been intending to do. Wolf Eyes Police Traffic Wand

If you are a police officer who regularly conducts RBT or traffic management duties, this could be what you have been looking for to provide an extra degree of safety whilst performing your duties. Designed to fit all Wolf Eyes Snipers, Defenders or Raiders, the Wolf Eyes Police Traffic Wand lights up brightly with the torch or flashlight turned on, but if used with a strobing model the visibility and safety is increased again for officers.

Wolf Eyes Sniper

The Wolf Eyes Sniper is still a favourite of many officers. Boasting 100 lumens and 1 hour of runtime it is often compared with the Surefire 6P, which is very similar in size with the same output and runtime. The difference is for only $20 more than a Surefire 6P, (currently the Sniper retails at $99) the Wolf Eyes Sniper is supplied with a charger and rechargeable battery, bring the running costs to zero instead of $20 for a set of batteries at Dick Smiths which will last for 1 hour. Even on line about $3 a battery ($6 a set) still makes for a $6 an hour torch, way too expensive for a duty torch or flashlight. One big difference is the Sniper takes an 18mm battery, the Surefire 6P if you can find an aftermarket kit only takes 17mm batteries which have roughly 2/3rds the capacity of the 18mm batteries.

If you are after a reasonably priced high quality torch the Sniper may be the flashlight for you. As the Sniper is incandescent it also works well with our flashlight IR filters. It also has the ability to be used with tape switches or firearm mounts at a later date.  We have a comparison below with a Surefire 6p and the Maglite 6D, as can be seen the Sniper is more than comparable.
